BEGIN YOUR ADVENTURE: STARTER DECKS

The Disney Lorcana starter deck includes everything you need to start playing against another player who has their own deck. Through these decks, you'll get a taste of the rich story and varied characters of Disney Lorcana.

To play Disney Lorcana, each player will need a deck of sixty cards. Ready-to-play starter decks contain a preconstructed deck with a specific card list. If you’re new to trading card games, or if you want to experience the game with a deck designed and tested by Team Lorcana, this is a good place to start.

Each starter deck includes:

  • 1 starter deck of 60 cards, including 2 foil cards of the characters on the package front
  • 11 game tokens
  • 1 rulebook
  • 1 booster pack containing 12 randomized cards
There are three starter decks available for Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter. Each deck has 60 cards and features two ink colors with distinct play styles. If you’re new to trading card games, or if you want to experience the game with a deck designed and tested by Team Lorcana, this is a good place to start.

Amber & Sapphire  

The complete 60-card Amber & Sapphire Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Starter Deck includes 4 Rares, 1 Foil Rare, and 1 Foil Super Rare. The deck's mostly made up of cards from Rise of the Floodborn, but you'll also find 5 cards from The First Chapter that help make the deck more playable, supporting the set's themes and key characters.

The Amber characters in this starter all work together on the field to use strong effects. It supports those characters with healing Items and a little Resist in Sapphire, and it has several Sapphire characters that can get you more cards, often trading items for fresh draws. Here's everything in the deck.


 Amethyst & Steel

 total, the 60-card Amethyst & Steel Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Starter Deck includes 4 Rares, 1 Foil Rare, and 1 Foil Super Rare. The deck's largely cards from Rise of the Floodborn, but you'll also find 7 cards from The First Chapter that keep the deck a little bit more dynamic in the early game.


This deck plays several Amethyst characters that trigger abilities when they enter play and leave play, creating combos with effects that return characters to your hand. It's also got rock solid Steel characters that shrug off damage with the new Resist keyword, and it can sneak in extra damage when your opponent doesn't suspect it. Here's what's in the deck.
